Meet Your Guide


Amália / Emily
(she/her) is a queer Hungarian environmental artist, activist, and certified Nature & Forest Therapy Guide based in Tkaronto/Toronto. 

She founded the Forest Bathing Club in 2021 with the intention of growing community and supporting others on their journey back to their own Nature. 



CV / Background


Amália has worked in the arts + outdoor education for over 10 years. She received her Master’s from Toronto Metropolitan University in 2018 with her research focusing on alternative and embodied research methods and the Canadian Landscape and went on to continue her education at the University of Toronto to receive her certificate in Foundations of Mindfullness + Mindfullness Meditation.  

In 2021 she became a certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy in California and in 2022 she established the Forest Bathing Club in Toronto.

Most recently, Amália is training as an Expressive Arts Therapist and receiving CRPO-recognized supervision from a Registered Psychotherapist. She is currently offering one-on-one Expressive Arts Eco-Therapy and is taking on clients through the Create Clinic in Toronto.
